About
I grew up wanting to be an artist, loving all things arts & crafts and especially every art class I ever took. I didn’t think I could make a living that way so I started college as an education major. After my first class I knew it wasn’t for me. I ended up at a major fair and realized I could go back to my roots of loving art and actually get paid. Just like that I switched my major to Communications with a focus on Advertising and graduated from Michigan State University in 2008. Go Green forever.
After graduation I continued my education at Brainco: The Minneapolis School of Advertising and Design Portfolio and returned to Michigan after graduation in 2010. I entered my career at a little shop called ePrize as a production artist helping designers with little tasks and doing a lot of client changes…a lot. With my strong work ethic and client focused skills I grew within the company (which became HelloWorld and now Merkle). I am now an Associate Creative Director overseeing a number of high profile clients and managing a team.
Currently I live in Metro Detroit with my family and our feisty little dog, Leinenkugel. On the weekends you can find me spending time with my family, working on our house or out trying all that Michigan has to offer.
